According to their website... Saratoga Lager is brewed in the grand tradition of the Vienna Lagers of Austria and Marzenbiers of Munich, Saratoga Lager is a smooth, medium bodied lager with a pale copper color and a rich aroma. German hops and Munich malt impart an intriguing balance between light, soft bitterness and a refreshing sweetness.
It's not difficult to find this beer on draft in the Saratoga area and most grocery stores keep it in stock. If you like a malty beer this is your style. A slight hint of sweetness and caramel to it too. Goes well with a burger or hearty sandwich.
Be sure to stop by the brewery at 131 Excelsior Ave and check out the tasting room. They have a growler club, buy 5 and get the 6th fill for free! While you're there head down the road just a bit and pay a visit to one of the best beverage centers in the area, Eddy's Beverage Inc.
